Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Statesboro, GA. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our properties, ultimately contributing to the overall satisfaction of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of residential units and common areas to identify maintenance issues.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance troubleshooting.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and property management staff.
• Complete work orders efficiently and effectively, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed and parts/materials used.
• Collaborate with property management team members to address maintenance-related concerns and coordinate repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance equipment and storage areas.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of general maintenance principles and techniques, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and customer service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
